The film follows the comical pursuit of a fiery demon when he crawls into an apartment window one hot summer night. 'CELSIUM' has been selected for LIFT-OFF FILM FESTIVAL, and the Melbourne Independent Film Festival.

‘Phenomena’ (2025) is a 5-minute short documentary written and directed by Izel Searle Garduno, co-directed by Emily Blake.
The film explores the mystery behind the Boulia 'Min Min lights' through mixed media, animation & sound design.
The documentary has been selected for the SBS On-Demand student documentary showcase, and will be available for streaming July 2026.
MOTHER

'MOTHER' (2022) is a 3 minute HSC stop-motion Visual arts major work animated, written & directed by Izel Searle Garduno. The film explores horrific elements through a child-like lens & multi-media aesthetic.
This piece was selected for the 2022 ARTEXPRESS exhibition, and was screened in galleries across New South Wales.
'Backseat' [MV]

Conceptualised & directed alongside up-and-coming musician Kade Charlesworth, the 'Backseat' music video was released on Youtube December 2025.
Using mixed camera-modalities to capture the atmosphere of a hazy, grungy Sydney night out, the video pulls on nostalgic & modern aesthetics alike to create a unique visual style.
'Suffer in Silence' [MV]

Conceptualised & co-directed alongside singer/songwriter Mina-Siale Latukefu, the 'Suffer in Silence' music video was posted to YouTube in late 2024.
Inspired by Pop-Culture Icons like Veronica Mars & the Gilmore girls, the video melds smooth cafe-pop jazz with 90's production aesthetics.
